From the VIN series and where this particular car with the special paint scheme is located, I would almost be willing to bet it is from the first 20 produced and ran at Daytona. I odn't recall these cars pacing any other events, other than the intial IROC race.
Great to know they are still being located and registered. I was proud to own 2 of these 86's myself, and know the owners of them now are just as happy to have a little piece of history. More to come, keep searching!
