Congrats indeed! The SS looked great at the Nationals last year. Hmmm, dressing a car up in costume... what a great idea wink LOL

Frank Caliendo's impression of Madden singing "Little Bunny Foofoo" comes to mind lmao

Bernie! I love that song! I didn't know who did it, thanks!!!

Ok, to page 1: Thanks, Scott, we look a bit alike, eh? There just is something about a black SS wink

But, I want mine to shine like FrankOC's; his is gorgeous! Hopefully, I'll be able to get some goodies before long... Thanks,Frank!

Thanks, Jeff! I know what you mean.... But, I see in your sig., that you have a striped black one...lol, If I had to have a different SS, I would have picked a black and saddle, and left it stock at least on the outside. They are awesome!

"Redline" Dave, that was hysterical! I didn't think of that! Wish we could run into you again this year... but, it's not looking like it... Have fun in your escapades, and I'll look forward to your "colour commentary" on your trips!

As always, thanks, Jeremy, for always being so nice!

Kevin, thanks, and I'll see what I can find; Since you're a Mod, feel free to help me with bigger pics; all I did was email the bunny one to Paul; he did all the size stuff to it. Would you want me to email you some, THAT I can handle wink I want to just go out and take some pics.....Having a hard time getting enuff sun still, here in Ct.

Ninja Dave, Thanks! Now I know what you felt like in the magazine wink

Tommy! Thanks!!! That's high praise coming from you! You know so much smile

Bones, thanks! I'm not a huge fan of white SS's, so it has to stand out for me to like it, and yours, I do!

JckHmr: I see you have 14 posts, so you're new, where in Ri/Ct are you? Have I seen you on 395 recently?? I've been seeing a few SS's out there!

Ken, Drool! I love it, thanks! I see you have a black and saddle too, drool back at ya! lol

Houlie, all I can say is... I didn't know that you liked my rims when we all met last June. Till, you bought a set.... And, you have 17's! Have you driven it much, after Nats, and before the engine started going in?

Ben! Too funny! I love your SS smile

Honestly, I only showed Paul the bunny pics, they make me smile!

Kevin, do I need to come to Jersey and introduce myself?
Haha, if I lived closer to you, I'd leave an Easter egg on your doorstep!

Greg, smile Thanks! I owe you a hug! You've been such a huge help!lol.

Hey, Nestor, thanks! It's taken a LOT of years, and a few cars, but, it pays off wink Just keep going!

"Austin" Scott: Thanks, I'll have to look up what was done with the paint, and let you know....

Matt: Thanks! More details, huh... Well....It is an 88 (sorry, Paul smile ), the usual black with burg. int. The eng is from a Corvette, 96 LT1 with about 7K miles on it. The transmission is also from a 96 Corvette, it's a manual 6 spd, and yes, it hauls cotton tail! It does sit a little high now, we just replaced the rad. support bushings right before we took it to Nationals last June, and that's where the 2 non bunny pics were taken. Will drop it when weather (and time) permit. The rims, as Houlie pointed out, are Tourque Thrusts, but mine are 18" and have Pirelli P Zero tires on them. Again, all my records are not accessible, I'm doing what I can, from memory! Yikes!
Ask Paul, he said it looks like I don't have an engine in it, when you first walk up on the open hood wink
Hey Paul, at Nats, you take pics of things that are different... How come no pic of my stick shift??? tongue I thought Corvette 6 spds. were still rare? smile
P.S. I rather like blue 84 SS's too!

Derek! Hi! Thanks! Yeah, I used to put Baby Car in a C-mas bow before your tongue was sticking out... I hope you do have that, still??????? Oh, and I used to "seasonalize" the rear view mirror with accents smile Yes, they are great ideas! Ah, the days of an SS daily driver, I miss them! I need to reinvent Baby!

Kevin! You gave me an idea! Since I have 3 SS's... I should buy 2 more sets of the bunny ears and nose, and THEN take a pic of the Bunny Farm! HAHAHAHA!

Hi Dean! Thanks! I have plans to change my int to grey also; I have one, but I'd REALLY like to do it in grey leather...I have a friend that does upholstry, and will let me use his machine, and teach me, but, now buying the materials will be the problem; oldest is starting college... Maybe I can do it in 8 more years wink We look a lot alike! Do you have more pics; did you change your int. any?

Bernie, I gotta tell you, that my absolute fav color, is purple. I haven't seen your most recent paint job, after that woman "parked" next to you.... Have some to share????

Whew, that was fun!
THANKS AGAIN, PAUL !!!!!!!!

I've seen Dee's car at Ocean Beach (CT) and it looks SO MUCH better in person! We'll have to catch up this year - should be there more often this yr as i'm moving a few miles away.

Congrats on the selection!
-Mike

Thanks, Mike! Yeah, I bet you're ready for the beach, this weather is GREAT! When does Ocean Beach start? I know Colchester started already.
I'll pm you!
See you there!

Cort, it was so cool to see you again, um... 7 years since the last time! I wish Nats was closer, I'd love to go again. Keep my fingers crossed for 2010 being doable. It was good to see you, and Derek, and his wife, of course, and Paul; almost like last time, just wish Janet had been there too! Take good care of you!

Had it been 7 years since we last saw each other, Dee? My goodness ... didn't realize it had been THAT long.... Time flies, I guess....

Sure wish you could join us this year, but hopefully next year. And, yes, Janet needs to join us! I haven't heard if she is planning to be in Collinsville. It's a bit closer for her, I believe.....
