The forum software has been upgraded to the latest version available. With this version you'll find a number of new features, the most obvious of which is the new "SShow & SShine!" forum. This is a photo gallery forum which is separate from the Member's album. Use it like a virtual car show!
You'll also find some useful changes in the Private Message area. The "My Messages" list now shows a list members still participating in each message. You'll also find a bar graph at the top indicating your current quota of Private Message space.
The display of Active Topics has also been cleaned up.
If you run into any bugs or quirks with the new software, please let us know.

I put 2 pics in the SShow & SShine. I previewed it and the pics show up. When I try to post it, it says "You must attach at least one image since this is a Gallery Forum". I'm I doing something wrong?

And I see that it's not showing if you are online or not. Unless it's just my computer.

Rob, you need to upload images into that forum. You can't use links to images outside like in other forums.

Actually the Online Indicator is still there, it just doesn't say "online" any more. If the member is offline, the icon will be displayed. Looks like there is some clean up work I need to do on the style sheets for forum summary pages. There's a new style sheet call out that allows highlighting new topics with a different color. It currently is not set so you may see some funky alternating colors on the forum summary pages. I need to figure out how best to implement this for each style. The New Topics list still exists, it just exists on the Portal page only. I turned on the option to only show the left column information on the Portal page.

I got the SShow & SShine right now. I do have some topics that are highlighted. No perticular order or reason that I know of.

I think I've figured out the style sheet issues. Please let me know if you see anything 'funky'. Right now I have it set up to have a different background color on the far left icon of each thread with a new post.

Is it possible to alternate light/dark blue backgrounds on the active topic screen? I think that is what makes it hard to follow is that it all blends together now.

Yes, they are uploaded directly from your computer. The images must be smaller than 200Kb in size.
Click the "New Image" at the top of the forum to start the process. Enter your subject and a blurb about your car, then click the "image manager" link at the bottom. A pop-up will appear. Click the "browse" button and search your hard disk for the image you want to add, highlight and click "open". That will return you to the pop-up where the link to the image will be in the field next to the browse button. Add any commentary text you want for that image in the box above then click "add image" button. Repeat the process, clicking the browse button through clicking the add image button for the other images you want (4 maximum). Then click "Done adding files". That will return you to the original entry screen. Click the submit button and you're done!

LOL.. I forget that every time. This time it's a bit more work as my hard disk crashed just before the upgrade. I do have the icon you made up for me though Ken. I'll get updated soon.
