WOW that was quite a nice surprise today!
Thanks for all the kind words guys, it is all much appreciated, and an honor.
I currently have the engine & trans out, along with the front fascia & radiator support for some "off season" reworking.
I have the engine apart for a freshen up, and a new cam & valve train. I am going to lighten up the valve train with titanium intake valves & hollow stem stainless exhaust valves. I also have the Comp cams beehive springs & retainers and their new "Pro Magnum" hyd roller lifters. I am hoping to extend the RPM range of the engine, but still keeping it street friendly. It would be all too easy to put a large mech roller in!
I also sent the intake to Wilson manifolds for a little tune up!
I am also lightening up the front end with an aluminum core support, and the aluminum bumper supports. I also lightened the front aluminum bumper with some holes.
I am also planning on installing a new fuel system, and a progressive nitrous controller.
Hopefully with all the changes I will have some better videos next year. It would be nice to run a high 10 on horsepower, with out loosing the street ability. That may be asking for a lot. Looking for 3 tenths or so!
First outing is the Monte’s @ MIS show in April!
