We've completed the conversion of the old message board software to this new "next generation" software. You'll find all of the old board posts present. Your log-in information should be unchanged. The URL of the message board has changed, so if you have links or favorites to the old board, please update them.
One artifact of the software conversion is the reappearance of old Private Messages (PMs) that were not deleted by both parties. If you deleted a PM, but the other party did not, that PM has reappeared in your "My Messages" box under "My Stuff". Please take a moment and delete all unwanted PMs. You are allowed a total of 60 PMs total, so it's in your best interest to reduce all of the unwanted PMs as soon as possible. If you have more than 60, other members will not be able to send a private message to you.
While we're talking about PMs, I want to highlight one of the new features of this software. PMs are now known as Private Topics (PT's). Private Topics are handled much like a public topic in any of the forums. You can reply to a PT before the other party has replied. You can include up to 10 users to be included in the private discussion (at the time of creation).
Another new feature is the ability to choose one of several display styles to view the message board. You'll find this option under the "My Preferences" section in "My Stuff". While you're there, please take some time to set your preferences and further update your profile.
There are many many new features available here. Please take some time to experiment and explore. If you have questions about any of the features, please don't hesitate to ask. An appropriate place to ask these questions is in the Site Feedback forum.
Enjoy!
