Ok folks.. we just rolled out a neat new feature. The Member's Photo Album! You'll find a link to it in the list of links in the upper right section of the page. Look for "album". You have to be logged in to see and use the album. You can use this album to host images of items you have for sale, topics of interest, images of your car, signature images etc etc, then link to those images within posts or your signature.
Each user on the message board is allocated 3 megabytes of space to upload images. Each image must be equal to or less than 150K in size. This allows for about 20 images at 150K in size, more if the file sizes are less. Only full member status members are allowed to upload.
There are simple rules to adhere to listed on the upload page. We want to keep the album Monte Carlo centric, just like the message board here. At this time, only images can be uploaded, no movies or other file formats.
If you have questions about the album, please ask. And please.. let us know what you think about this new feature!
Enjoy! PaulC

Paul told y'all he was working on something big for the site! I think it's a great addition for all the members.
Tim... I don't even have a dgital camera to steer you in the right direction. I do have a Kodak that spits the picture out to you when you crank the handle a few turns. (I know, I know... I really need to upgrade my crap! LOL)

Paul, that is way awesome. I may throw a pic of my gilopy in there, just so everyone else looks that much better. Big kudos for making the best site in the Internet even better every time we log on.

Thanks,Tim When you go to the upload page, look for "browse...". Make sure your Kodak CD is in your CD Drive (D:\ probably) and click the "Browse" button. CLick the drop down box at the top of the screen that pops up and find the D drive (or whichever drive your CD is in), and click on that. The contents of your CD should then be displayed. Find the picture you wish to post, select it, then click "Open". Repeat for each additional picture you wish you add.

You'll need to reduce the size with an image processing program like Photoshop, etc.

Hey Russ, look at the orange bar across the top, above your pictures. There should be a button that says "Set Album Thumbnail". Click that, then click the image you want to use

Paul this looks like it is going to be an awesome feature. I have always wanted to suggest it since another site I belong to has this feature, but it also has a lot less members. Keep up the great work!

The "set album thumbnail" should be the far right button in the orange memu bar when you are inside your album. Let me know if you do not see that.
I have been setting the thumbnail for members who have (what I feel are) images that would make a good thumbnail for their album. So that's what happened with yours Kevin.

So that's what happened with yours Kevin. I figured you may have done that for me but wasn't sure Paul You must have also set the title of my album to 85_SS as it was just my member # previously. When I am viewing an imagine in my album, the orange menu bar only contains: EDIT DELETE MOVE LINK
