Correction to earlier post...
The black T-shirt I placed an order for last night takes 5 days minimum to process before shipping, so I won't have it for the Convention/Nationals.

Looks really good - will start on my "list" of stuff to buy soon. One thing I missed - a men's tank top. I saw the women's but I missed the men's. Would love one to go to the gym with, all testosterony-like!
Scott - '85 SS, t-tops, grey bucket/console, all power, posi, and currently in midst of frame-off rebuild.

I've created a white on black version of the license plate: Since I haven't upgraded the shop to a premier version (which incurs a monthly fee), I have opened up another shop to showcase this product (as well as other special request products): http://www.cafepress.com/montecarlosscom/ I'll see what I can do with a gold on black version. Gold may be difficult to represent. Might end up being a dark mustard / tan rather than gold. We'll see.

For those looking for Gold on Black.. what do you think of this: I haven't made this into a product yet. I want to get an ok on the gold color first. I used the official RGB code for gold.. and that's what came up.

That looks good. I had some shirts made and the lettering had to be bright yellow-gold also. The darker gold doesn't stand out. Thanks

Paul, Everything looks great. My only suggestion is maybe key chains? Not sure if you could get the picture small enough but just a thought!

Don.. I hope you weren't mislead. The license plate frame you ordered is White on Black, not Silver on Black.
Jeff, we're limited by what CafePress has to offer product wise. At the moment they do not offer key chains. If they ever add them, I'll evaluate them and then add them if they are acceptable.
Paul

Sales are doing extremely well. We're well on our way to the break-even point. Which is a good thing! Obviously with any project like this, there is an overhead that must be overcome before benefits are seen. That overhead included the fee paid to Tony for his great artistry, the test products to check for quality, and the products given as thanks to the guys whose SSs we used in the design.
Sales have dipped after the initial rush (much to be expected). I wouldn't be surprised to see another rush as the holidays approach later this year. The test will be how consistent sales are the rest of the time. That will determine whether or not we do any more designs, as well as how many designs in the future.
So far I'm very pleased and thank everyone who's supported the project. Looks like everyone is pleased with the products as delivered.

I got my order, and I am VERY pleased with the quality of the printing.
The shirts look amazing, as does the poster and stickers.
Now I just need to find a 22X22" frame somewhere that doest cost me an arm and a leg...
Thank you for the t-shirt Paul!!

Yeah, I thought the 22x22 would cause heartache. I'm not an expert on frame sizes, but you can probably add a matt to make up the difference. Since the design is basically a square shape, conforming to common frame sizes would be difficult.
I'm open for input here. There is a smaller poster option available that I haven't turned on. If you guys can recommend a poster size, we can give it a try.

16 x 20 and 18 x 24 are common frame sizes, but that would put some white space at the top and bottom of the image, still think it might look good though.

Is there room to cut 2" off each side though? I dont really think there is...
There are a few places that I am going to look around. I think at places like Michaels, you can actually have them make you a custom size. I always see frame border samples on the wall there.

Paul,
Love the products, I ordered a polo shirt, T-shirt, hat, plate frame, sticker, and mouse pad (now that I think about it my mouse does seem quicker now!). Had a small problem with the order which cafepress quickly corrected. I think the first design selected really hit the mark. I know how hard things like this are to spin up, but this really fills a void in MC products for what appears to be a growing poularity of 80's G-bodies and MC's in particular. Great Job!

Paul I was wondering if there was a chance we could have the option of adding our board name to the hats or shirts. Would this be a possability?

It doesn't appear that there is an option in the basic CafePress shop to do that J.

Hey Paul - is it possible to get the license plate frame in black instead of chrome? I think the black frame would go better with an SS, and chrome better on an LS/SC

Here again, we're limited to what CafePress offers as far as product selection. It doesn't appear they have a black frame available.

No problem - just wanted to check if they had such a product. Thanks Looks like they do use USPS for cross border shipping so I just ordered an oval sticker, mouse pad, and plate frame - can't wait for the arrival
