I know we've all experienced the sluggish response time from the message board the past few weeks. I must appologize on behalf of myself and our host for that. We performed an "upgrade" that obviously didn't provide us any improvements in speed, and infact slowed things down. Well there's good news to report. Site funds are going toward a brand new server.. with DUAL 2.8GHz processors, 512M ram and a 533FSB XEON motherboard. This thing will SCREAM when it comes on line (hopefully in about a week). So in the mean time, please have patience with the sluggishness.. it won't be around forever. And let me take this opportunity to thank those who have donated to the site fund. Those donations (in part) are going to be used for this server upgrade. If you haven't yet donated to the site and would like to, you can send a check or money order in my name to: Paul Carreiro 15607 Cordary Ave El Camino Village CA 90260-3530 As before, since I feel the burden should be spread out, a maximum donation amount of $25 will be accepted. Just incase you haven't noticed.. the site is SCREAMING now on the dual 2.8GHz platform. There are still some configuration issues being ironed out.. so there will probably be an occasional reboot lasting less than a few minutes. Have patience in those while we iron out the last few issues.
