Hi folks, Well that was strange. The board locked up for some strange reason. I'm still trying to decipher what the error was. In the end I was able to clear the board cache and that cleared the error. Thanks to those who reported the error to me via email. Sorry I didn't notice it sooner.

Well the error is still occurring unfortunately at random times. I know how to clear the error to bring the board back up. I just haven't yet figured out what's causing the error. Seems to be related to the Who's Online list.
I've saved some error messages and will continue to investigate.

Ok quick follow-up. I just figured out the problem based on info from the message board software user's group. In the past these errors have occurred with ddos attacks. I think what's going on now is all the bot activity (probably AI bots) that goes on today... it's overwhelming the Who's Online table in the database.
There are two ways to mitigate this error, convert the table entry from memory to disk, or reduce the time period to capture who's online. I had that set to 10 minutes. So you'd see everyone online in the past 10 minutes.
For now I've reduced the time to capture who's online from 10 minutes down to 1 minute. That should alleviate the problem. If not, I'll convert the database entry for who's online from memory to disk.

Another update here... I've changed the database table entry for the Who's Online from memory to disk.... and then moved the Who's Online window back to 10 minutes. I don't think the error will return. If it does, we can switch back to 1 minute window.
