The message board software has been upgraded to the latest version. This version is a maintenance release composed of bug and glitch fixes. No new features. Please report any message board functions that do not work properly.

Thanks
PaulC

Tonight was doing a reply to a post and needed to look at someone Profile. Before I would minimize the site webpage I had open and then need to open the site a 2nd time. This allowed me to not loose the reply I was typing. As long as I didn't close the second site the first opening would not change.

Now when I do that does the first opening get superceded by the second opening which closes it? You know me, I hate loosing a couple paragraphs of typing.

Nothing that was changed in the upgrade should have affected that. I do the same technique without problems. Can you be more specific on what you mean by the first one gets superceded?

I played with different things last night and have to figure out what I'm trying to say.

Sometimes I spend time researching info for a reply. In the past I've backed up the post by copy/paste to an email to myself just so I wouldn't lose the content, now it's somewhere other than the forum. Ususally find that problem when you have multiple site open to read their info.

I'll let you know what I find.
Bob

In the past I've lost a post I was working on by opening other windows within the site. When I would go back to the topic I was working on my post would be gone. So I learned to copy and paste any long post I had written and email it to myself. That way I could easily retrieve it and paste it back where I lost it.

Well, yes.. if you navigate away from the message board before posting, the information in the edit box should be lost. One alternative is to send yourself a PM as you compose the reply.
