Hey guys I知 glad to be joining this site I知 a big 83-88 G-Body enthusiast so I think I値l be a good fit here. I have 5 83-88 G-bodys myself including the DEI Mrs Goodwrechs old aerocoupe, which I bought from her father with all documentation and is the only car I have ever found with leather from the factory. I also 3 other aerocoupes including a silver 87 I bought new. These are fun cars that you can really enjoy and I知 glad to see there finally starting to get the attention and respect they deserve.



Here is a pic of the black DEI car and my silver car, which are the only cars covered out of the 5 cars in that building which have a 1969 SS/RS 4 speed. 1957 210 heater, radio, clock delete and a 56 Hemi 40K real mile Desoto. So it tells you what I think about a G-Bodys!






I will be posted up images throughout the day of the LS conversion kit I have for the 83-88 G-Body along with fitment shots and details about my new line of Muscle Rod hedders for the LS swaps. The G-Body has had such a weak aftermarket in the past that I decided to make it the first car to release hedders for. If anyone on the forum has any LS related question ill be happy to help.

here is some info on the special preorder pricing on all G-Body hedders





Here is the first pre order on the new Muscle Rod line of performance hedders for the 1983-1988 G-Body Monte Carlo. The Muscle Rod line of hedders gives the enthusiast the most options for hedder choices so that you can get the right hedder for your project and know its going to fit. I知 offering these at special pricing as a preorder that will be shipped by Wednesday the 18 of this month. These hedders are made by Hedman Hustlers racing division and are designed to make serious horsepower. All hedders feature a thick 3/8s flange with tuned primaries. The pre order prices are listed above the regular retail prices that will only last until the 18 of June. The Muscle Rod line is manufactured by Hustler but is exclusively retailed through BRP under the Muscle Rod product line. Were proud to say made in the USA.

All Hedder痴 can be used with the stock GM spark plug wires and have options for O2 bungs on all headers.

All hedders are ceramic coated at listed price but can also be ordered uncoated at a reduced cost

Stepped hedders are a special order that will normally take 10-14 days from order due to the build to order specs. Any pre orders will still be shipped by June 18. All stepped hedders can be ordered with a 2-3 step. Such as with the 1 セ primary hedders will be stepped to 1 7/8 then to a 2in primary for a 3 ス collector. Or for a smaller step to a 1 7/8 from 1 セ with a 3in collector

Mid Length hedders are available with the same thick 3/8 flanges and large 1 セ primaries with a ball collector. This is a great way to get extra clearance over a stock manifold and pick up some flow and great looks.

BRP is also going to offer complete exhaust systems for these headers that use mandrel bent tubing ether in stainless or aluminized with iconic sounding chambered mufflers. Other muffler options will also be available for those who want a toner sound.

Looks like some well engineered parts being offered here, and I'm sure the headers are nice also if they carry the Husler name on them.

Do the frame mounts get welded in? I have several questions about this type of swap that would be pretty general for our cars actually. Would you prefer a phone call Phil, or would you mind answering some of them here so everyone could see?

Thanks for the welcome, guys I知 working on a basic swap info thread for the engine section now. As soon as I get it up I知 going to put the basics up so ask me all the questions there in case someone else has the same ones. The hedders are really some high quality performance hedders and there all 100% made in the USA at the same facility that builds the NHRA hedders. As for the frame mounts they can be welded in or bolted in, its up to the installer to choose. Ill have this and a whole lot more info once I get the post put together. Thanks again to Paul for letting me join this site, I think a lot more people are going to be running LS engines with the cost of fuel and the availability of low cost 5.3L and 6.0L truck motors that make over great horse power and around 25 MPG in a car
