We've made a few changes to the album setup. First, the allowable upload file size has been raised from 150K to 200K each. Remember you only have 2MB of space available.

We've also added an "For Sale Items" category right below the Member Gallery category. Please upload all items that you intend to sell (and link from) in that forum. Do not place them in your Member Gallery. Members will find the Album link on the right side of their navigation bar at the top.

And finally, we've added a new Chat Gateway here on the board. It will connect you to the long existent Monte Carlo Chat Channel which predates this website by a few years. This is a great place to meet up with friends, or to hold a private one-on-one conversation in real time. The software uses your user name to automatically log into the chat channel. Unfortunately, because of IRC restrictions, this gateway will not work if your display name starts with a non-alpha character. So if your screen name starts with a number or a dash, you won't be able to use the chat gateway. Contact me if you would like an alternative method to get into chat.

As mentioned, the chat can be used to conduct a private one-on-one real-time chat with another user. To do this, both users need to first enter the chat gateway. Once you are both there, double click on the other user's screen name which appears on the right column. A new block with that user's name will appear at the bottom of the screen under the "private" tab. That's the private chat window now set up between the two users. Click on that box and start chatting. Nobody else will be able to see the conversation. Contact me if you need more details.
