I've added two new features (hacks) to the message board.

Per member request, I've added a Member List feature where you can sort on a number of profile entries.

I've also added an Instant Message feature to the message board where you can send a message to someone else who's online on the Message Board.

You'll find both features in the upper right corner of the message board screen. Have a look.. give them a test drive! Let me know what you think.

I'm also toying with a Calendar feature for the message board.. but it's a significant hack requireing a lot of code changes. Let me know how you think a feature like this would be useful for us. I might be swayed into putting in the time on it.

I posted my 1983 about a week ago but i can't seem to find it or any replies... have i done something wrong ?? don't know how to access the right spot (obviously computer-challenged) I wrote to you initially (ontario, Canada) and i did find 2 messages, one from Detroit and i replied but now everything has 'poof' vanished! Help!! xox OZ

This is the thread I believe you are talking about. The default setting of the board only shows threads that have been active in the past 5 (or 10) days. You can change this my clicking on "my profile" at the top right of the page and then clicking "view/edit profile" and setting the default as you wish.

You can also respond to your own thread with a "ttt" to bring your post back to the top of the list and make it active again.

For future reference, to find your recent posts - click under your name where is says "Posts: #" and it will show your last 50 posts. You can also access this from your profile.

This probably isn't the place for this, but it has to be said.

With all the work you put into this site on an ongoing basis, your continual efforts to improve it, and your dedication to keeping it a civilized site, I find it disturbing that there are people dissing you and the site simply because they don't feel like following the rules, rules they SHOULD have read BEFORE clicking on "I ACCEPT"! Matter of fact, it downright pisses me off! Screw 'em! Start shutting them off if they can't follow the rules YOU created for YOUR site. If they don't like it, tell them to start up their own site and let us know where it is when it's done so that we can all stop by and piss all over it and give them a taste of their own stupidity! Some 30/60/90 day suspensions might be in order too, judjing by some of the BS Admin-knocking posts lately. Maybe we'd get lucky and some of the riffraff would just stay gone after a 30 day suspension.
