True True! When I get mine I may have the local sign shop make up a new top piece that just has 1985 in a wide font

Maybe you could make license plate frames with 1983-1988 mcss on the top each year being seperated like the 1987 one posted. I know I'd like a 1984 one

I was hoping for maybe white with black lettering, or black with white lettering... Which do you think would look best on my car? I'm thinking maybe the white background

I just recieved my plate frame. The quality looks good. The 1987 Monte Carlo SS is clean and sharp lines but the Monte Carlo SS .com has what looks like a white outline which makes the lettering lines appear rough and uneven. I love it and you can't tell a difference from a few feet away. I also think that if the ss on the top was the SS style letters like on the bottom it would look even better.
I am not the least bit dissapointed i just noticed where you asked Randy about the quality so i figured i would give you some feedback on it.
Great Product and can't beat the price. Thanks Paul...
Justin: I think the black background with white letters would look the best. The black will offset the silver frame so the white letters will stand out more. If you painted the frame black than the white background would look better. IMHO

For those of u that have one already, does it rub on the bottom when u pull the plate down?

Hey i just thought of a cool idea. How about one that lights up the letters! That is if it would be feasible.

I am going to try and move the whole bracket up slightly to see if it clears. I'll let you know if it works. Moving mine to the front is not an option for me cause i don't have a front plate bracket or do i want one..

I took the plunge and upgraded the shop to a CafePress's Delux shop. Costs a few bux per month, but in the long run it will be worth it. Much easier to group products and we can have mulitple designs available. I've edited the links in the above posts to point to the new shop URL. If you've bookmarked the shop prior to now, please update your Favorites with the new shop URL below: http://www.CafePress.com/MonteCarloSScom/

That's strange.. I tested the caps and it works fine here, so cafepress should allow it. Do you think it's on your end Tony?

I like the look of the new shop!
I had my poster framed (you can find a cheap frame at most any craft store. Its just a piece of cardboard with 4 sides that hold the plexiglass on the front. Pretty cool actually...) and I sat it in front of my car at MM06. I thought it was a pretty cool touch, and it really did turn out well.
I know Jman has a picture, not sure if Angel and I do...
