After a lot of work in the background, we're finally ready to open up the MonteCarloSS.com Online Store! I first want to thank TonyD for producing the new designs for our products. If we get positive feedback, we'll be creating other designs which may include an Aerocoupe, 3rd Gen and Non-SS Montes. Stay tuned for furture designs. Here are the currect designs that appear on our products. First the larger image: Next, the smaller image: I want to thank everyone who submitted images for our design. I want to especially thank those whose SSs we ultimately used: Brian (200kSS), Bernie (SickSpeedMonte), and Hank (hank1968). I think you'll all agree they are great examples of stock and modified SSs. So.. no more beating around the bush.. here is the link to our new MonteCarloSS.com Online Shop: http://www.cafepress.com/montecarlosscom/ We want to hear feedback on the shop and the design. If there is a product / image combination that you don't see, please let me know. We have the ability to change each product (within CafePress's limitations) to your specifications. For those inquiries, please email Merchandise@(nospam)MonteCarloSS.com. We've set it up so that there is a small amount of "profit" from the sale of each item, typically only a couple bucks, which will be used solely for site maintenance and upkeep. None of the "profit" goes into my pocket, or the pockets of the volunteers here at the site. So.. let me know what you think.

Love the design. Will be buying somethings very soon. Like the number of things available besides just shirts. Tony D also designed the SMCC shirts and he is a very nice guy and great to work with.

Thanks for all the great feedback. To answer some questions: 1) Future designs will depend on how well the products sell. Tony did great work for us, and he was compensated appropriately. I also gave each of the three members (and Tony) one free product from the shop as a show of appreciation for letting us use their cars in the design. That all adds up to a little bit of overhead that has to be overcome before we "break even". Additional designs would also require either upgrading to the CafePress's premium account, which requires a monthy fee (current shop is free), or, add a second separate shop for each design. More things to consider. 2) Future designs will also depend on the submitted images. For those wanting an Aerocoupe, we tried, but didn't come up with the right combination or quality of Aerocoupe images to have them included. Same will apply to non-SS and third gen entries. 3) It was asked if there would be any products with just the straight Monte Carlo SS logo (presumably without the .com site tag). The short answer is no. These are website products, used to a) show your pride in the site, and b) help in advertising the site, and c) help fund the site maintenance fund. 4) It was asked if we could have more products with black background. This could be taken two ways.. so I'll answer both. First, CafePress offers a limited product line (just about all of it is represented in our shop), and 99% of that line is non-black background material. We opted not to include the one black item.. a black T-Shirt because the design did not look "right" on it. We tried a few different ways, but did not come up with a good looking product. We'll keep trying. Perhaps future designs will work better on that one black background. Second, if you were referring to the design itself having a black background, I'm not so sure that would produce a good image of the cars in the design. While attempting to match the design to the black T-Shirt, we made the background of the design transparent. The resulting car images were difficult to define in that mode. I'll leave it to Tony to say if a back background design is possible or would look good. Since CafePress's products are for the most part white based, I think we'll stick with the current style design. Hopefully that answers all the questions... well, except who will ultimately model the thong.

I just put in my order! If you do end up in something in black, make it either a sleeveless tee or a mens tank top.
