Notice anything new? LOL. If not, you're probably blind. I just upgraded the message board to the latest version. Most of the changes are behind the scenes and will not be obvious to the users.

I took the opportunity of the upgrade to start converting the color scheme over to match that of the rest of MonteCarloSS.com. At the moment, only the top level message board pages are affected. The individual forums and threads still retain the original color scheme. I'll wait on converting the lower level forums and threads until I hear comments back (pro/con) on the color scheme.

Please read the follow-up post here in this forum regarding the use of signatures here on the Monte Carlo SS Message Board. Guideline/Rule changes have been put in place regarding them, due to some expanded capabilities within the upgraded software.

As always, I encourage feedback on the entire MonteCarloSS.com site. If there is something you think can be improved.. or if you just love it to death, please let us know. I prefer everyone use the Site Feedback forum, not this forum for this feedback.

The color scheme is very nice and I kinda wondered if my monitor was actin up but it looks real good. Keep up the VERY good work. I've learned a lot from the site and find myself wanting to read all the stuff on here every night. I guess I went overboard making it my home page though lol.

An update to the Message Board makeover...

Had to flow down the color scheme into the lower forums and threads sooner than expected. Turned out some of the lower level color schemes were screwed up. Everything should match now. If anyone finds any quirky color scheme, please let me know. That also applies to any other quirks / bugs here on the Message Board or the site in general.

As for making the site your home page (when you bring up your browser) engineerofthefuture, I suspect you aren't the only one! I have the top level MonteCarloSS.com page as my start page here. I'm sure others do too.

I like the new colors!

I'd noticed that some sites like mikeskinner.com and others that used UBB had their own color schemes, and wondered if it was just your choice to go with white bg, until you saw if this was going to take off, or if you just liked it that way... software version hadn't hit me ;-)

The colors help alot to keep the "oneness" of the site evident. Not like my site where I've got about 15 different bg and color setups ;-)
