Hi everyone.. I see there is a situation brewing in regards to the Private Messaging system and I want to clarify something...

When a private message is sent to you, you will receive an email notifying that you have a private message waiting. This assumes you've turned on the Email notification option in your profile. Anyway.. that email notification comes from the system with a return address that I use for the website. Please do not hit reply to these notifications. If you do, the reply email will come to me, not your intended recipient. The proper way to reply is to retrieve the private message from your profile page. I've had two occurrences today of this happening. I just wanted to remind everyone of the proper way to reply to a Private Message. Thanks

That seems like kind of a pointless feature as the email notifying you of a new private message could well have been the message itself :rolleyes: This doesn't look like a feature I'll use much. I guess it would help to keep your email address private if you wanted to though.
