All,
I was just informed that our server host company is abruptly closing shop on Arpil 15th. I have to scramble to get all the data off the server before that time, and a new server set up. If anyone has a lead on a reputable server company where a VPN can be set up, please let me know ASAP.

Thanks
PaulC

That's terrible news. I have a VPS with digitalocean that I am pretty happy with, the $10/mo option works well for me. I run several services through it without an issue including a personal website and VPN. There support is pretty good as well, they were able to troubleshoot my e-mail server issues I was having when I first set it up.

Thanks for the tip Allen. I'll check them out. After a bit of surveying the field last night, I've settled on a company that rates pretty high. I'll compare them against digitalocean.

Well, you probably noticed we were down for a few days there as we transitioned off of the old server to the new host company. Normally this would be a seamless process where you wouldn't notice as a user. Unfortunately when we came up on the new server, there were some configuration issues on the server that took a bit of troubleshooting to figure out. I couldn't bring the board back up until the issue was resolve due to potential corruption of data. Now that we're back, it appears everything is running smoothly.

Thanks for your patience during this transition period.

There are lots of plugins for Chrome that will fix that issue.
