Nice runs, need to work on your burnouts alot though. Not getting them hot enough to really work for you like they should.

I agree. I'm hitting 3rd gear in the burnout but these tires dont smoke like the should. A couple of them were shortened because it started to drift sideways. The first run I had 17 psi in the tires and left at 3200 rpm, and melted the tires when I left. The last 2 runs I dropped to 11 psi and left at 2200rpm which worked out pretty good.

I run with the MT Drag Radials. The first run was with 17 lbs. and launched at 3200rpm. The last 2 runs were with 11 lbs of air and a launch rpm of 2600. I have a ProTorque 3800 Billet convertor. It flashes at 3600. Next time out which is Weds. I'm going to try an off idle launch. My 60' times have not improved but ET has. I think it's a lil wierd.

Can't give much advice on launching an auto, just keep playing with technique while watching the short times, that will tell you whether you went the right way. Only make one change at a time, minimum two passes on each change to see results.
MPH is very good, ET is pretty close to were it should be, but I would think there are a several more tenths left in the car.
E-town looks like a really nice track, never been there, maybe some day make a trip over there. Bob

Tomorrow is the day. We'll see what happens with off idle pass first, if I'm not happy i'll drop air to 11 lbs and give it 3200 launch. With the air that low I should not have a traction issue. As far as my burnouts I'll rev it a lil higher before shifting gears.

E town is a very nice track. There is also Motor cross, drifting (which I think is the biggest waste of rubber and money) and a nice lil road coarse.

When I am in the box I hit my line lock and then go through all three gears before releasing the lock then I roll out of the box. I then throw it in neutral and clean out the carb with a few blips of the throttle, then I line it up and stage. I found that I get a better launch by coming just slightly above idle then I smash it on the third yellow and I am off. I run around 18psi in my Mickey Street E.T's.
