Hey, just became a member and wanted to share pics of my current 1987 MCSS Aerocoupe T-Top. Had it for three months, bought it from a nice couple (third owners). Mostly original with some drivetrain mods made by POs 8 years ago: 355 built roller valvetrain motor/700R4 with stall / headers and full dual exhaust, with all emissions still intact (including electronic Quadra-Junk er.. Jet; important as this one still has to pass tailpipe test in Harris CO for two more years... after that, it's LS-1 time :O) ). I had previously owned another 1987 MCSS Aerocoupe HT white/saddle car (pics of it are on here somewhere posted by my buddy); had to sell it last year to thin the herd to make room for a GN... (Before I get the inevitable barrage of hatemail, in my defense the GN is irreplaceable museum quality specimen)... Rest assured, I immediately regretted selling the AC, and hunted online daily until I found this MCSS AC for sale and bought it.. it is garaged, and driven only on nice days.
Im looking for feedback on the stripes... POs took off the stripes when they painted it 8 years ago (still a nice job, Cadillac pearl white)... I want to replace the stripes, and while I hate the red stripes, im not sure charcoal or gold would look right on a maroon interior car. Feedback anyone?

Welcome and good to hear that you got another SS. Sure would like to see the pics of a pearl white SS. Not sure if you should put stripes on it or not? Maybe put some old school rally stripes on the hood and trunk!

Just upload them with photobucket then copy and paste the last little link under the pic and paste it under your writing in the thread. And you will be golden.

Very nice looking car...Welcome.

I'm not sure about the stripes...some I like, others I don't...still haven't figured out for sure what I like or dislike about them for sure.

Nice car. At the bottom of the page where you view your pic in the album, look for the link that says BB code. Highlight the white box and press Ctrl+C on your keyboard. The paste into the message box here.

JMHO, a car with aftermarket rims like you have shouldn't have stripes, maybe the SS decals on the doors and trunk lid, but that is it.

Darn nice ride! thumbs
I'm from the less-is-more club, you admire the paint and the lines of the car more.
