You know I'm rebuilding my 79 MC frame off.

I'll reweld and box the frame, along with TNTraceshop upper & lower rear control arm reinforcement.
I'm also looking for some Bilstein shocks, with OPGI 3" lowering springs front and 2" rear.
At the moment I'm looking at Hotchkis products:

hotchkis steering rebuild kit

hotchkis swaybar set

hotchkis rear suspension package

poly body bushings

Also looking for SC&C Stage II front suspension.

What do you think about that?

thats alot of cash going into that suspension, the only thing I can think is that maybe you'd want to talk to UMI, as they give discounts to certain groups all teh time. Also, when lowering your car that much, and I may be wrong, don't youw ant adjustable upper control arms so you can tweak your suspension to fit with the lowering?

You may be able to get the front steering rebuild kit much cheaper from your facorite auto parts store, its probably identical to Moog parts.

guy is on the money for front end parts and adjustable upper rears, i would stay away from adjustable lower rear arms, ride will be harsh as hell. and the poly mounts are cool, but if that brand is like energy suspension, the body will sit abit higher.

Save a little money, in the for sale section the SC&C stg II is for sale for I believe 100 bucks off the original price. http://www.montecarloss.com/community/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=751195#Post751195

Now, what exactly are you going to use the car for? Corner carving, drag racing, cruising? The adjustable uppers and the solid lowers should be all you need. I have the relocation brackets on my lowers, and will tell you not to get them for one reason only, they throw your swaybar close to the ground, mine catches on bumps and such. I think the parts list there is pretty good and I would call them and ask them if they offer a discount for a large purchase such as that. Tell them you are a member here and at maliburacing, and they might/should offer some sort of discount with something that big of an order.

kinda fun cruising/corner carving mix wink

You know I plan to swap a LS1 with T56 in there, so the suspension and brakes should be good as well. Don't want any $$$$ high end things. Like said I already looked at UMI Performance stuff before - but I found them on ebay so thats why I wasn't sure if stuff's good or not..

I have UMI Boxed lowers and tubular uppers, as well as a rear sway bar, and I think my lower a-arms. Quality stuff regardless. I have no complaints!
