As showen above, it is a replacement for the orignal gauge shadow box which it allows you to replace the factory gauges with new aftermarket more reliable gauges using your orignal rear pod and face plate. The picture above is only 1 of the three styles avilable . It keeps a more orignal look but at the same time gives you the ability to really know whats going on under your hood. Didgetal gauges are hard to see when the sun hits them and are real tough to read at 120 mph. Thats why true race cars and air planes don't use them. The other style thats coming down the road are not evan avilable yet but they make you lose your L/H A/C vent/and right side warning light which has your bright light,brake failure ,ect,ect. panel and does not offer provisions to keep your right hand mirrior adjustment and rear window defoger switch, they just king of blew that stuff off when designing theirs. All in all I feel like this is the best product to use if your concidering or need to replace the factory gauges. They are made of ultra strong 22 ga steel, lasor cut for presison ,a must when having to withstand the extra weight of aftermarket gauges .
