Well bored today at home debating lowering the monte I decided to take fender height measurements to determine where a certain drop may sit. These are the measurements I got.

LF 27.5 RF 27-1/4

LR 28-1/4 RR 27-3/4

My Tire size is 245-50-R16 so there .4in taller then stock.

Does anyone have a stock car with newer suspension to rule out sag that I may have to determine a correct drop height. Im a little concerned why it sits lower on the pass side but I take into consideration the battery and spare tire with jack. Ideally Id like to have a pretty much level stance.

And Sickspeed if your reading this do you have your fender to ground measurements as your stance is what im after.

First off there are generally different ride height in different years. SS up to 86 were about the same and 87-88 were higher in the front than previous years.

My original height of my 86 with the stock tires was:
LF 27 11/16" RF 27 5/16"
LR 28 1/8" RR 28 1/8"

Currently with BFG KDW 245/50x16 it's:
LF 26 3/4" RF 26 11/16"
LR 27" RR 27 1/4"

Double check the height spec on your tire, usually they are 25.7" for 245/50x16.

Yes I know the 87-88 sat higher as my 87 was like that. Anyone else have some measurements?

Probably has to do with meeting bumper height regulations.
