This was taken at an indoor car show at the Mpls convention center. I love the reflections.

GOOD!

For some reason, my pictures usually turn out (or look) better with the windows up. Doesn't quite make sense to me, but it just feels that way when I compare pictures I've taken with the windows down vs. up.

*shrugs*

Thanks! It's great to have something that's drivable (and to be able to drive it by myself legally).

And nice pictures, you need to convince someone to drive the new Monte Carlo with you to a better location--you could get some awesome old-to-new shots!

In particular, I would've loved to have taken a few with my circular polarizer, but oh well. Very nice, what year is your impala? Judging from the grill, 07? 08?
Is it an SS or the 3.9?

Thanks! It's an '06, the first model year for that body style. And it's a 3LT, just a step down from the LTZ, so it has the 3.9L. This model is perfect for us, since all I really wanted was the 17" wheels, dual exhaust tips, remote start and the 3.9L. It's pretty quick, yet I don't cry when the gas gauge falls!

Some Jeep ones from today, it was more of a casual "while we're taking pictures of other things, why not the Jeep?" than an actual shoot.

**Just to keep the thread alive, anybody mind if I post some non-Monte pictures?**

A buddy of mine mentioned a really cool abandoned overpass near his work the other day, so I headed over in the Subaru to go scout it out during a rain storm. The storm passed while I was there, and I managed to take a few pictures. Iím definitely going down there with the Monte once I get a chance.

That overpass is awesome! The crane pictures would've worked much better if you had focused more on the car than the big picture, maybe move the car a little further away next time.

Here's one I took today of my Monte, since I finally bought a decent point-n-shoot digital camera - a Canon Powershot A580.

How's that?

Edit: Sorry, Photobucket killed the quality of the pic, looks much better at full resolution!

Steve: maybe take the shot a little bit lower next time to give a more aggressive feel. But man, I never realized that the SS antenna is so high!
