I had the carb rebuilt 2 weeks ago and have had to bring it back several times.....very erratic, stalling, high RPMs, running rough going through gas crazy, etc.
Started it up today and it stalled out 5x...and then running rough.
I took it to a shop that was highly recommended....and will have to take it back again. VERY FRUSTRATING!

Unfortunately I feel that the ccc carbs are a specialized thing and it's definitely a crap shoot just taking it to a "carb guy". Hopefully the guy can get it worked out.

It may not be the carb. The CCC system will only run right if the engine is running correctly. Many CCC iseues are caused by underlying engine issues.

David, click on this link and call the number, www.customrebuiltcarbs.com The owner is Phil and he answers the phone.I'm sure he can get you squared away. I used him for two E4ME carbs and all I had to do was install them and drive the car. He is in NJ!

Engine has miles on it, but was running fine as was the carb....the only issue is that the carb gasket was leaking....
Now I have a nightmare.

Could you elaborate about this gasket leak?

If you have a dwell meter you can see if the computer is responding lean or rich and what the idle speed is set at. If you have a float guage you could check the M/C plunger travel to see if that is off. CCC Qjets have several adjustments that must be made on a running engine. Its not just bolt on and go. Furthermore, you should check your ignition timing in case it slipped off somehow, had that happen on my tractor once out of the blue.
