Nothing too constructive to add here, other than, those wheels looks awesome! Nice find and the price sounds right. What tire sizes are you settling on for the fronts? Looking forward to seeing your setup installed on your car.
My Montes is running 235/45-18 for near stock diameter on 18x8 (all 4). I'll likely move to 245/45r18 when replacements are due, for a bit more sidewall & width. My tires are older Michelin Super Sports and street-use traction is excellent despite being fairly worn and far from fresh rubber (6+ years old).

Thanks for joining in Lugan. Actually that's very helpful. I was planning on running the 235/45-18s up front (26.3 x 9.5), but was a little concerned about inner fender clearance and you're the only person that I know running them - most are running 26" and shorter front tires.

I was planning on getting custom wheels and off-sets, 18x8 with a -6 offset (4.25" backspacing), but just couldn't justify the rather significant increase in price from a couple years back. The fronts have 4.5" backspacing and I have 2" drop spindles with front springs that should drop it another 0.5-inches. Worse comes to worst, I could run a good 0.25" spacer and/or a rubber spring insert for a little lift, but hope not to.

Are you stock height, any lowering done? What off-set/backspacing are you running?

BadSS hope I can help. The wheels are -13 et offset (-0.51in), though my brakes add .4 in, in addition I have .25in spacers which makes the backspacing closer to 4.4.
The spindles are stock and stock type ball joints. Control arms are tubular and the springs are Hotchkiss 600lb/in 1in lowering.
I found the ride height too tall so removed a quarter coil this winter. Ride height in the front is now 26.75 in floor to fender lip.
Tonight actually is the first time I drive the car in 5 months and it felt great ( transmission rebuilt, new Bilsteins, cut front springs, new rear sway et ). It was a short drive to test the changes (and get ice cream with my 8 year old). The few pot holes and dips in the road weren't a problem. The car felt very planted.

Thanks again Lugan. That makes me feel like the 26.3” tire should work for me. Glad all is well with your Monte.
