Hey Everyone, I wanted to reintroduce myself. Ive owned my Monte since 2004 it was my high school car. I was very active 2005-2008. Ive kept the car in decent shape over the years and got it painted a few years back but didnt put the full decal kit back. It has a 305 jasper put in in 2010ish. I put Iroc Z convertable moog springs with a coil cut in around 2016. all new shocks and suspension bushings. The quadrajet was replaced by me with an Edelbrock carb (ive hard to rebuild once already) and vacuum advance distro in 2008 with lockup on a toggle switch. AC was ripped out after my failed attempt to fix it.

There is so much I want to tackle and put right after so many years of inaction. I dont have much time with kids now but I wanted to share my list.

Engine Bay wiring - Clean up
Water pump -Rusted and looks awful
Tachometer -off by 1000 rpms.
Interior seats and Door Panels - very worn and faded.
Put AC back in and make it functional
Have some nasty dash cracks
Maybe switch to a simple cleanFuel injection
New hoses and Belts
New vacuum lines

Yes, welcome back. Nice, clean looking ride!! I'm partial to the de-striped cars. I bought mine new and took off the stripes after a couple years. The only problem I had when I did that, with mine being black, everyone kept asking if it was a Grand National,,,, even with the Monte Carlo SS on the doors like you have. LOL
