I have a wheel rattle. I’m mechanically minded but I have looked at the under carriage and can’t find anything loose.

The center caps have some play. It could be them. But it sounds like a spring chattering.

I’m lost. Any starting points? This is a low mileage car so it’s gotta be so thing simple like the center caps.

Try tightening up the center caps first and see if the rattle goes away. Its possible that you may have a bad suspension rubber bushing somewhere as they can dryrot from just the passage of time regardless of miles driven. Look for any rotted appearing bushings. May also try jacking each front wheel up and then jiggle them for any looseness.

Took a bit but I found it! Ha. There is a vertical bolt with a spacer that holds the torsion bar to the lower A-frame one of the bushings was gone edit then allowed a sleeve over the bolt to vibrate repeatedly up and down causing the rattles

called sway bar links, you should replace both sides, good luck!!
