Currently sandblasting the underside of upper trunk pan amd back seat pan.not to much to blast as the car is mostly new metal lol.not to many pocs to show as of late .hopefully have those areas cleaned up this weekend .then por15 the body from front to back .then I need to order body mount set bedliner the underside of the body then lower onto the frame finally.going on 6yrs now from the time I put the car in the garage .I look back here and i camt believe how far I've come .stay tuned for some updates with pics soon

Working on rolling restored frame out from under the car today .spring is finally here and I can continue on the monte .have 90 percent of the original metal blasted under the car that was still original . This has been a long journey for me thank you for checking out my rebuild .This year the body should be bolted back onto the frame .what a feeling that is! Still lots of work to do even at that point. Pics coming soon of the under side to see.

Good day fellow members .my body is back on the frame
Finally. Just aligning it as we speak.my question is how do you figure out where the body should sit front to rear. I know there is alignment holes but is there a way to measure it out without using the alignment holes as i dont have the right size rod to go in .my concern is the bumpers not fitting if its to far back or too far forwards.side to side its good at the moment .maybe someone could measure some points for me. Was thinking from the face where the bumper impact absorbers bolt on to a part of the body .any insight is appreciated. Really want to post more pics of where im at with the it not sure how to upload pics these days .

Some pics of the progress.not the best pics but it is getting minty lol.12 bolt fron the 69 chevelle with the g body mounts fits great.mind you ibhave installed umi 12 bolt swap arms .looking for the pic of that lol .dont let money stop you from having a dream come to life.i dont have alot of money and im doing it all myself in my garage one thing at a time .its been 6 yrs since i took it apart. Mind you i havent actually worked on it for 6yrs straight.things take time to gather and save for th8ngs needed .this summer i can roll it out of the garage for some better pics
