We gave up looking for a good set of original gray front belts and had a set rewebbed. Wasn't cheap but very effective. seatbeltplanet.com They will send you samples so you can pick which shade you prefer.

Brian, I don't think this was for your monte but if so what color did you select? Grey, silver or charcoal? How close are the colors? Hard to find used, but they run about $30 each. I bought a set ($60) only to find there was a tear/cut worn in the drivers belt when extracted that hung up in the shoulder guide. So thinking about salvaging my original set. This is a nice option it seems. Quality workmanship? I bought a premade set once and returned it - can't remember why but it was not what I expected. This would work better of course. You retain the sleeves where it attaches to the floor or buy anything else new with it???? Thanks, Gordon

The quality was great, they don't rebuild the buckles, retractors, etc. so make sure you send in a good set. We only sent in the retractor side, the inner buckles and sleeves never left the car.
Agreed on the aftermarket new belt kits, too many differences vs. the factory style.

Brian - were you matching grey webbing for a Monte and if so exactly which color (grey or silver or?) or was it the oxblood or? You happy with the match between new and old webbing?
Mike - I can get you a front set (outer retractor side for driver and passenger in dirty/old grey webbing) for modest cost of shipping. Comes with the outer 2" floor sleeve, buckle triangular shoulder mount and retractor. I don't have inner/console side, or at least I can't find it today. Shoot me a PM at the end of the month if you want it and its yours. I'll dig into the link Brian sent and get color samples in the meantime. I will need to retain one operating set if I send the other in...

If we are getting down to the nitty gritty, the webbing is not an exact match. Look at the webbing, I believe its a 5 panel design from the factory which is not available. The set we had done were gray and as everyone knows with these cars there are multiple shades of gray, oxblood, saddle, etc. in the interior even when new so pick what you want the belts to match. The closest thing we could find from this vendor was a 3 panel design. No, I don't have pictures.
We are sending another set to the same company soon, this time to match the 87 saddle color. Ended up with a 4 panel Tan color.

Mike - that's the hard part. You can get the console side in any color, alter the webbing and spray the plastic sleeve... Great find. Gordon
