Mods can / should move this to a more appropriate section if fitting. Here's the 'Before', after stripping all the hi-temp clear that was guaranteed NOT to yellow. And then laughed at me only a year later looking like a pack of dogs marked them. I recall using VHT, but I'll try one more time with Eastwoods that a friend reports good results with. My bench-mount wheel did marvels on bringing back a severely patina-ed plated brass and chrome door mortise knob-set, but it's not convenient to get to right now. I'll give it the college try with hand-held pads and such. Feel free to pass along anything that helps keep me from trying to reinvent the wheel:
