Hello, I was wondering if someone could give me a measurement. Can someone give me a measurement on their 83-88 monte from the front point of the hood to the center of the carburetor? My engine isnt in yet, so I need some help.

Thank you.

38"

Although I have a single plane intake that is not tilted forward like a dual plane, my EFI throttle body stud is bent and I have a tapered spacer between TB and air cleaner so it sits level with the hood...so it should be pretty close to a OEM location.

Thank you for the info. I got 37 1/4 from somebody else. Hoping more people chime in so I can see how much it could fluctuate.

I measured 37-1/4 inches to the carburetor stud on a completely stock 1987 MCSS. A different carburetor or different intake manifold may result in a different measurement.
