How about a set of louvers cut into the stock hood in the shape of the Gen 3 Camaro IROC-Z hood vents?

There are several companies that sell louvers for cars. Several of the cars at UMI KOTM had hood louvers either to improve underhood temps, provide more downforce, or brake cooling. Not sure, can't remember, the name of the louver manufacture on those cars. Here's one company that takes things to a higher level with venting. https://racelouvers.com/From some manometer testing for my cold air package years ago location of positive, negative or even dead areas of the car's front showed greatly varying high or low or no go areas. Hood scoops are another area of WOW or, HUH, results. Some do what they intend to do, other can be a detriment. Most scoops are about aesthetics, not performance increase. Bob

Another idea for heat extraction is fender louvers or vents like those on a Buick GNX or Generation 2 Camaro Z28..'79 or '80 vintage.
