i have a cz 200r4 thats been in my car for 12 years. i dont drive much because im afraid to.. the car only has about 200 miles.. the issue is that it shifts up really firm but will not shift down. so when i stop and try to go it stalls.. it restarts just fine and shifts up real good again.. i have changed the tcc switch and fluid..... could it be i have the wrong converter or a missing wire.!!

My first thought was TCC solenoid shot, but you said you replaced it. If you unplug the harness from the driver side of the trans does it still misbehave? Might be that your TV cable isn't adjusted correctly, but others might be able to speak to that better than I can.

I suggest you check the TCC solenoid wiring. Verify that there is not a break somewhere in the wire. Check for continuity from the ecm harness to the trans connector.

Good Luck
