Put it away for the season. It was a good year to drive around this year. Looking forward to next year.

Already? I was in Maine in early July when it was pretty warm/humid lmao but I realize winter might hit even sooner there than it does here in WI, which is saying something. I plan to drive or at least have my cars driveable through October, if weather cooperates and they don't lay salt down, into November to some extent.

You're not wrong - gorgeous out right now. I may have put it in too early. The weather turned cold for a bit - down in the 40's. But it's 70's lately. Dangit!

I can usually keep mine out until right after Halloween, the the chances of road salt increase daily. Planning on a nice ride after church today, headed up towards the Snowshoe WV area to do some leaf/color watching.

..." rub it in, rub it in".....
I think it's hard on the cars too, to sit idled for the winter.
Barney must be happier now.

Here in Pa I drive mine all year, but no salt on the roads or wet is the requirement. I have friends that put their cars away for the Winter, but they are also the guys that put 200 miles a year on a car. I don't care about mileage on the car, it was built to drive and enjoy. At 1800 miles for this year now, should see 2000 easily this year.
I always tell people the cheapest thing you will ever do to a car is put gas in it. Made a run to Cecil County Dragway for Buicks last weekend, 200 miles in two days of pleasure driving.
