I see guys on facebook smoothing them out and prettying them up quite a bit.

I winder if there are aftermarket covers available?

thepezking639, that does look better than the Gen 3. where did you pick that up and how much, if you don't mind me asking. I have a LS6 manifold that I got on the side when I bought my 5.3L. Where did you get your radiator and fans from? Also where did you get your gas tank too? Thank you.

All the answers you seek are there. the Radiator is a Champion CC162, Fans are from a 97 Dodge Intrepid. I got the manifold off of craigslist, it was from a trailblazer SS for $150, but any 07 and up truck motor should have it. Mine has 30lb injectors, but some of the flex fuel cars had 60lb-ers.

Getting everything together for my LS swap. Have a complete Lq4 that i am going to keep the truck intake on and a 4l80e. Going to get the conversion brackets to move the AC compressor up top also. Has anyone used the Hooker Blackheart setup?
Motor mounts: 12643HKR
X-member with bracket for 4l80e: 12644HKR
Full length headers: 2332HKR (not sure if I can justify the price yet on the headers)

They claim it will optimize clearance for LS swaps in the G-bodys. Anyone use this setup for an LQ4 and 4L80e combo?

That'd be the ideal engine time swap in. I have an '06 GTO LS 2 swapped in my Monte, which is no slouch but it isn't an LS7.
