My bucket seat hinges are worn out. My drivers side seat leans farther back than it should and is very uncomfortable to set in. What can I do to fix this problem? I've heard that F body seat hinges are allegedly the same. Are there any kind of rebuild bushing kits for seat hinges? Can the hinges be purchased new? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sure Mike at Mike's Montes can set you up with new hinges. Before you buy new though, check out the article I wrote in the DIY forum for adjusting the bucket seat back:

Years ago I took the hinge from a 3rd gen f-body to replace one of mine that had an issue, same hinge. Some other GM seats might work but 3rd gen f-bodies/buckets are still somewhat plentiful or easy to locate.

Thanks for the help. Also, does anyone know why I don't have to use the levers to raise my bucket seats? All I have to do is take my hand and place it on top or behind the seat and raise it forward?

That's normal. There is a G-force lock (my term) that prevents the bucket seat from flying forward should you brake hard or have a front-end accident. The lever is there to release this lock if you happen to be parked on a steep decline. Fun trivia fact.
