Also being held at the same time as the Carlisle Chevrolet Nationals, the NMCOA "Monte Carlo Nationals" are being held again in Piqua Ohio June 22-24. About 100 cars of all generations. Always something to learn and share. I'll be there - who else? Connect as you are able!

Still waiting for the Nats to come to either Greensburg of York again. Have been to Columbus, Cleveland, Nashville, Greensburg and York in the past, 200 miles in my limit anymore.
Enjoy your weekend!

And I would love to meet all you guys at Carlisle, but like you, 300 miles is pushing it. Still, if it weren't for the conflict with NMCOA it would be worth it....
Not certain if NMCOA Nationals will be moving around in the future?
Hoping for good weather and good times for all....
Gordon

We have some rain here in Piqua Ohio at the 33rd annual Monte Nationals. So far, 70 cars on the lot and another 15-18 in trailers. Last year we had about 100, including an aero with 98 miles on it. Some very serious builds (pro-street/pro-tour) and restos with a number of original owners and parents/grandparents cars.... lots of families.
Great fun! Reach out if you are here. Silver Aero (Aero SS Ohio Plates).

Hello to the Carlisle guys!

In a few days we'll know where the next convention will be. Would hope it moves a little more to the East next year, like close to where John lives. Greensburg was one of the better conventions for me.

Often the convention is the same weekend as Carlisle, not good timing. For the York, Pa convention several years ago the wife and I spent Fri hanging out there, drove home, got up at 6 am Sat for the drive to GM Carlisle. 300 miles, two events in 2 days and still had fun.

One of the East coast clubs, Chevelle I think, moved their big event to Carlisle Chevrolet. Not that it would ever happen but if the NMCOA and Chevrolet Nationals happened in Carlisle, side by side, there may be 200 cars there for that event.

Looks like the rain will arrive here early tomorrow morning, and then again at days end. Hoping the sun shines Sat out your way and can enjoy the show.

Same place as this year. Rumor has it that could be a permanent location, but who knows.

Bob, the Chevelle show you mentioned, as been on the same weekend for over 30 years, Carlisle moved their show to the same weekend years ago, but moved it again to a different weekend then the Chevelle show. Look up www.mdchevelleclub.com for info and on Facebook for lots of pics, the car count was 145+ this year. Just an FYI.

Had another great time at the 33rd An. Monte Nationals this year! I'll be at 34th An. Monte Nationals in 2019, either with my 2006 SS or potentially a second, older gen (I'm looking right now) or both.

Leo touched on it - GM/Chevy Nationals in Carlisle is the weekend before Monte Nationals in 2019.
