Was there ever a splash shield on the 2001 SS that actually went on the bottom of the engine to cover the tensioner belt from getting wet? I know there is one on the inside of the fender well where the tire is but I didn't know if they ever made one that would go underneath the engine itself

Greetings new member, this forum is for the generation 4 (aka G-Body) Monte Carlo, manufactured from 1981-1988. Your Gen 6 Monte Carlo is a completely different animal and many of us don't know much about it. Maybe someone will be able to answer your question.
This W-Body forum should be able to help you.
