Very nice! What are your specs again?

Sometimes you just need a bigger hammer...

Jason, you had a little advantage on him, tires?

Travis, sweet, as Jason said there is lot more to be had. getting to the other end of the track before a Hellcat, priceless.

Glad you got heat in that engine, keep tweaking.

Car leaves pretty soft or roasts the tires. Needs some time on the dyno to get the motor dialed in. Still at 13.2 AFR at WOT under load. Needs slicks, an 8.5 or 9 inch rear, a corner balance and to set the pinion angle correctly.

Tires alone will put you into the 12's. Running an auto, you may be suprised how long the stock rear will hold up even with slicks. I ran my stock rear into the 7's in the 1/8th with a manual, and know quite a few guys who have been faster then that/still running one. A bigger rear is money well spent though.

He'll need quiet a bit more motor. Hell cats can run high 10'S stock with tires. My bone stock challenger scat pack will knock down high 11'S.

Ron.

1986 Monte Carlo SS LS3 build almost running. NOT.....LOL
I will rebuild the car and up the bar a bit,Speed tech, frame work and a bigger LSX.

Not at Lapeer dragway it won't lol. The track is garbage. My friends with fast cars (sub-10 second) wont run there because the surface is bumpy and the prep is almost non-existant.

This was just a couple of friend with street cars seeing what they could do.

Ran what I thought was just a Challenger at the track two Fri ago, it ran a 19.8 with a 4.4 sec 60', HUGE cloud of smoke he left at the tree. Got back to the lanes and looked at his car, damn, I beat a Hellcat. He screwed up the launch programming and fried the tires. They had to sweep up after him it was that bad.
