earlier today i had an intake leak so i decide to put on sum new gaskets. After i change them off i took the car for a spin around the block when i noticed white smoke. When i got home i checked the oil dipstick and it wasnt milky(looking for heads leak), so i pulled the valve cover off and notice coolant in there. could this have happen earlier when i had that intake manifold leak? and should i go ahead and perform an oil change on it also.

yes always do an oil change to make sure there arent no contaminants in there with gasket pieces or antything lese that might have fallen in i wouldn't use mobil 1 either since it might be the last time you do it.

Use a thin bead of Sealant around the Water ports of the Intake gasket. Thick bead at Front & Rear up to the Intake gasket.
