CELEBRATING 20 YEARS!

I finally finished my Air conditioning swap in my 85SS. I put in the serp setup w/AC from a 90' camero. Total project cost my about $200.00.

I'm so happy

If anyone has any questions on how to get your A/C or Cruise working after tearing out all your C/C harness, let me know. I have been through both systems completely.

COOL!, At least I hope it is cool, or something is wrong. I have that same serpentine setup in my car, but don't have the AC hooked up yet. I have a condensor from a 307 Olds with the passenger side fittings. What hoses and other parts did you use? Thanks and have a good one!

I got mine working also but my only problem is wiring in the electric fan for AC.

I used a serp setup from a 88 Camaro. I used the F-body AC lines along with a 87 v-6 cuttlas condenser and the high pressure line from it. You can also use the AC lines from a 307 equiped cuttlas and they will fit much better, I had to bend up the F-body lines a little to get them to fit correctly.

I used the A/C system from the Camero that I got the serp setup from. I used the condenser which is exactly the same size as the Monte, but the lines are on the passenger side, then the A/C lines from the Camero bolt right into place, wham bam, charge it up and go. If you need info for your cruise search the forum for "Cruise without ecm". If this doesnt help, be more specific and we will help you out.
