Tire clearance is perfect, does not rub at full lock. There is about 1" or so of clearance to the outer tie rod end.

Not sure what you mean about the plate though, I blurred it for the pic.

What is the backspacing on those wheels?

I really want to love these wheels, but after seeing pics I'm glad I didn't order them. Something about them just doesn't look right to me. Tony alluded to it, for some reason they look larger, like 18's with 35 series rubber. I'd have to put bigger tires on them, and yes I have 245/45/17's now.

Next assignment, show me them on a BLACK car. Hehe.

BTW, if you want to sell those TT2's, PM me. I've got a waiting list for mine when I'm ready to sell.

I think they look awesome as is, but I have to admit, I'd love to see them with darker painted centers (photoshop anyone?) laugh I think the contrast of the machined edges makes the wheels pop when the rest of the wheel is darker (I can't see anyone stripping/painting a brand new set of wheels though!)

Damn that looks good!!!

Really makes me want another Monte.....

I wonder what 255's would look like on there.

If I remember, I'll play around with the color later.

What backspacing did you get 4 1/4" or 5"?

Thanks

Looked at eventually upgrading to the 17s but for a number of reasons went to new/refurbished 15s (for now). Taking a hint on paint from another thread, I asked Mike at MikesMontes if at least the face could be painted dark grey to complement silver body paint. I think it was a first for his manufacturer but they powdercoated the entire wheel dark grey and it is a beautiful job with milled aluminum (clear coated) edges, new chrom nuts and caps. $150/wheel, no cost adder for the color apparently, no core charges (I keep the beaters for now) and very cheap delivery to my door. Love to see stock wheel N90s with color options. I can't post photos but contact him and he can forward.

jcperformance - I went with the 4 1/4 backspacing.

ZZ430T56 - I think the lighter color looks better than the factory color b/c it does not look dirty.
