Discount tire has several MB motoring wheels under 200 each, some closer to the low 100s.
Also Summit Racing has a (legend 5?, Summit-5?) that is a nice loking wheel at a good price.

Don't fall asleep driving with those cushy seats! Only kidding, nice find. Good luck with it.

Nice ride. Looks just like mine too. Enjoy it and i'd leave it stock too. Maybe do a few suspension upgrades.

I had to acquire the center caps as well. Only had one. Sometimes, you can find a decent set on Ebay. Mikesmontes has some as well.

Oh, fix the TCC, I did it mine as well. You might burn up the trans if you don't and it's really a easy cheap fix.

I see Dixie and Mike's has the center caps. Huge price difference as Mike's is much cheaper. There is a local place that refinishes wheels for about $135 each. I may have that done to the originals if I don't buy aftermarket wheels.

I am going to the trans. shop tomorrow to see about the TCC fix. Your making me nervous, haha.

I can give you a place in Webster that can get you drop spindles and or any other drop parts for less than you can get them yourself.

Let me know and fire me a PM and I'll give you the contact number.

If you are going to put your money into a car, it seems the smartest route would be to start with a clean/low mile/solid example like you have.

Nice clean car you have there, now do as you wish to make it even more enjoyable twocents

The car is in the trans shop getting the tcc solenoid replaced. I hope this fixes my issue. If not I will have to deal with the shady car dealership and allow them to put in another transmission from the extended warranty of the previous owner. I don't trust them. So I am paying out of pocket to see if I can resolve this.

On a positive note I did go to a junk yard the other day and got some replacement parts for the car. I even got a clean dent free chrome door molding to replace the one on my passenger door. Mine has a few ripples that you can see at certain angles.

My gear indicator broke on me (says its in 1 all the time) and I discovered that it was glued together previously. I thought it was 2 separate pieces but it is one. Mine was missing half of it. I got a new instrument plastic lens and a new shadow box. Also a tachometer and other gauges. I wonder if the tach will work if I just plug it in to the housing. I just have the dummy plate in the dash now. Oh yah I also got some knobs for the heater/ac as my knobs the silver end cap was missing on 2 of them.

Keep your fingers crossed for me on the trans please !!

Good finds at the JY. Not too many JY's keep the older cars around. Might be a good idea to get some more stuff. Who knows, maybe some members on here could use some parts.

rear spoiler, center console door? i guess if that's what you call it...ummm...front bumper/frame supports? not sure what they're called either. and i think a driver side headlight bucket? i've been to a couple yards around here but never seem to have any luck. would mid 80s el camino headlight buckets and bumper supports work? but shoot me a msg first if you find out prices beforehand, i just got laid off and have limited funds unfortunately...im in the process of putting an silverado ss style front bumper on my s10 and its kinda pricey already. lol
