No beauty shots just yet other than the ones already posted in this thread....sorry.

I've been doing some body work on the trunk pan just behind the seat where the previous owner(s) drilled 32 screw holes to mount audio equipment, fuel cell or something...don't know?. The holes ranged from a screw holes to a 2.5" hole!:( Also, I've been working on getting the lead on the "C" pillars smoothed out. Nothing has been done to the aero part of the car in the last month. Also, I don't think I need to completely weld up the trunk lid just yet...at least until I get the car painted and the window permanently installed. I "might" need to re-do the skin of the trunk lid but don't know for certain.

SMoothed out lead on C pillar...

Thanks guys! Right now I'm in the process of doing the body work and getting it ready before I actually install the aero package permanently. This is why I haven't been posting updates. Mainly because it's a Buick GN instead of a Monte Carlo SS...gotta respect the rules on the forum. When I get to the part pertaining to the aero, I'll post more updates.

Thank you. It looks really good, but what about the rear of the window weather stripping? I see like the sides are out, how is the rear of it?

The sides are suppose to lay flat on top of the filler panels. The rear portion near the edge of the trunk lid is made different and doesn't have that "flap" you see that lays on the sides.

As of right now, the aero project is coming along pretty slow. I'm doing some more leading work on the "B" and "C" pillar and I'm having to fix some dents on the upper rear edge of the roof where a tree limb fell on it. This is the reason there's been no updates on this thread since it doesn't pertain to the "aerocoupe" part of the project. When I get the car to the point actually installing the package tray permanently I'll be posting more pictures.

In the mean time, I have to get the silver Turbo Regal I just restored car out of the garage so I can start working on the aero at night. I don't want to get all that sanding dust all over or under the hood of it. I'm having a carport installed just for that reason.

Yes, the car use to be a t-top. The top was so rusted out (and the fact I don't like any kind of leak prone hole in the roof) I put a hard top back on it. This was back in 2003-2004. The kicker is, when i done the roof, the floors were in great shape.

I dont understand the whole purest thing, I guess. I applaud u for the skill and effort this is taking. I like the way it looks, different and subtle and very factory looking. Can't wait to see the final deal running and driving. Not to mention the jaw dropping at car shows.
