Fuel leak from fuel filter housing. Tryed the teflon tape and all the tricks that I know. Still leaking. Have heard of a oversize fix for this but none of the parts stores here have heard of one. Anyone have any ideas. Carb still top notch except for the leak.

Heli-coil makes a repair kit but $....want a i have done is to clean out the threads, carb fuel filter nut, install a new gasket on nut and get it to start as straight as you can. Then get the carb clean around the nut and JB weld it on with no fuel filter in it.Put a inline filter in and let it dry.Good luck

Mrs has a good idea. I tried it once and it worked for a long time.

did you by chance misplace the gasket or reversed the f.filter or even damaged the little spring? I even had one filter twist on me as I tightend the line up.
you can buy a new peice of line, you'll have to cut the old line and use a rubber fuel hose, for a quickee.
Properly it should be done from the pump, thats alot of work.

Will give those all a try this weekend. The gasket and filter are all good, even double gasket try also. Thanks.
