Don't have my current monte carlo ls finished but heres some pics of it and my el camino. I am lucky the car didn't have any frame damage and the title was clear. I picked the monte up for 400. I picked the elcamino up as a future shop truck for 1100. Oh yeah the el camino is going to recieve a luxury sport treatment soon.

I eat rice and buid muscle. You add body kits I add racing slicks. My car is fast your car pretends to be fast. I step on the gas you hear my rumble. You step on the gas and it sounds like a bee is near my ear. Just know this you pull up to my car you might as well catch you own car on fire, because they call me the rice burner.

Took some pictures of my brother's Chevelle using my dad's FinePix. I'm so much closer to getting my Canon 350D!

Imagine the last one with no Monte Carlo in the backround..

Tony, awesome paint job.

Take one where "Bel Air" is written on the quarter panel/fin with the camera close enough to the badge so that you can read it but also showing the rest of the body of the car, that'd be an awesome picture.

I think the wheels always look better when turned 'away' showing the side of the wheel. Look at Mikes Aero fotos above, doesn't the ones with the 'side view' of the wheels look better than the 'head on' shot?
Just my 2 cents..

One of the magazines said they didn't want pictures of cars in a parking lot or a lawn... in their words "we don't drive on grass so don't pose it on grass!"

Some very nice looking cars in this thread. This ain't my SS but it does illustrate how to take a pretty good picture. We parked my Super Truck in front of a local sponsor, and then wet down the gravel parking lot to darken the ground. Lay on the ground, give yourself about a 25 degree upward angle and snap away.

Here's some that I took of a friend's LandCruiser in December:

Here's a good one, a mix of scenery and the truck:

and then a good example of using angles to make things appear bigger and tougher (albeit a touch overexposed):

And here's the camera I used for that (my other child next to the SS):

Canon 350D (Rebel XT) 8.2MP with an 18-55MM (kit) lense. Anything Canon DSLR is going to be great. I recommend it to anyone looking for a nice DLSR that isn't too heavy and is a beginner! Albeit pricey at $800.00 for a kit (lense, body, strap and 1GB CF card).
