I have a 1986 Monte Carlo. I swapped a LS 5.3 engine in my car. Im installing the Holley Terminator X Max system. I’m starting to clean up the engine bay the drives side look good but the passenger side has wires everywhere.

I dropped the fender well and installed the wires through the fire wall. They all fit but it’s so many wires going through the fire wall. Is there another place on the fire wall I can cut And run the wires through?? If I go in behind the motor seems like the best place to cut a hole, because most of the wires come from that area.

Let me no what you think.

Many of the wires on the passenger side are related to the HVAC system. Are you still running AC? If not, clean things up with a heat only blower or a block-off plate. To eliminate uneeded wires, you should invest in a GM Electrical Diagnosis manual, found on ebay for $20 or so.
Be careful when shoving bundles through a firewall, lots of sharp edges will cut insulation and cause a short or fire.

the original CCC system wiring ran thru a boot on the passenger side firewall, behind the inner well, you can remove all that wiring if you haven't done so already, Good luck!
