The original radio in my 1986 Monte Carlo SS seems to have crapped out. Had it restored a couple of years ago. The clock is currently stuck on 4:45 and there is no sound coming out. Any suggestions?

Tony Barlos, used to work for GM with these radio's. He repairs them and can add an aux input if you'd like, etc. e-mail is: barlosal@aol.com

I had him restore a stock one I'm using and add the input. Been 2-3 years, works just like when I got it.

Good timing. I was just starting to research repair options for my stock unit which needs help. I'll give your suggestion a try. 👍

I contacted Tony. He actually restored my original radio three years ago. I think you recommended him back then. Did a great job. He’s going to fix the problem. He’s awesome. Thanks.
