Im running a 1981 corvette 350 block 0.060" oversize. 1969 441 cylinder heads. Edlebrock torker 2 intake with a 600 cfm holley carb. Looking for an inexpensive cam and lifter package. Nothing to extreme. Looking to daily drive this not race it. Any recommendations would be great.

Cheers

I would run an Edelbrock performer cam and lifters and when you get extra money ditch the 600 and go with a Holley 670 Avenger.
My honorable mention is the Comp Cams magnum 470/270.

Does it have flat top pistons (what's the compression ratio)? What type exhaust is on the car (headers and duals)? What's the rear gear ratio and stall speed on the torque converter (stock 3.42/TH350 or 3.73/200r4?). Do you want a smooth idle or something with a little bump to it?

Original owner of 1985 SS black hardtop w/gray interior. Frame-on restoration in progress. 406 sleeper w/ heavily ported FIRST TPI. 1.875" headers and dual 3.5" Borla exhaust. TH400, Ford 9", anti-roll bar, and notched frame. Dropped 2", 18" wheels, and F/R disk brakes. 10-point cage w/swing-out bars, custom gauges, and audiophile stereo system.

Nothing wrong with edelbrock carbs! Get a mild cam like comp cam 12-206-2 .its under 200 bucks cad . Its a mild cam with better than stock but not rough idle .have one in my c10 daily driver .

yes flat top pistons have not figured out compression ratio yet. 76 cc heads im guessing in the area of 10:1. Running long tube headers with full dual exhaust. 200r4 with 373's

76cc's probably not 10:1

You will be lucky to have 9 to 1 .

As other's indicated your compression depending on deck height and gasket thickness could run between 8.7-9:1, Also as others suggested the Summit cam kits are an excellent budget cam. They won't idle quite as smooth and will fall a few horses short of the newer high rate of rise cams like the Comp Xtreme and Lunati VooDoo series, but should fit your needs and budget.

Based on compression, headers, true dual exhaust, and trans and gear ratio, I'd think the $122.39 single pattern K00042 (214/214 on a 110 spread) would be about as large as you would want to go. Should add a few horses, provide good throttle response, and idle with a slight lope but relatively smooth at a low enough RPM to keep from shocking the transmission when you put it in gear..

Edit -Forgot to add this - Don't know how many miles is on the engine and whether or not a new timing chain was originally installed on the 350, but if not I'd suggest a new timing chain and a cam lock plate while you're at it.

Do you know which Edson can. If you do and can give the specs on it that could help us dial in a replacement. Tell us what you liked or didn’t like about it and we can suggest a new one that’ll give you what you want.

Make sure the box the cam comes in is factory sealed. Back in the day, I was scammed by someone who substituted another cam and sent it back for a refund..and that cam was sold to me.
Jegs made it right but it was a PItA to return stuff and wait through an unneeded delay during the engine build.

a standard performer intake would be a step up from a torker and can be had for $50 used, a summit k1103 or also known as elgin e922p cam, 214/224@.050 .443/.465 lift cam would be a good balance of hp, tq and driveability.
